Mattise Binauli is a self-taught Catholic artist from Malawi, the Warm Heart of Africa. After losing his hearing as a young child and facing isolation, he turned to drawing and painting as his way to communicate with the world. Today, he sells his artwork independently to support his livelihood and hopes to one day build his own home. His detailed landscape scenes beautifully reflect Malawian village life and his deep Catholic faith.
